General Information

  • Sign-up Online: Please email Michelle @ demoutreach@gmail.com with the following information to ensure your spot at a table:
    1. Name
    2. Phone Number
    3. ID (optional, but preferred for verification)
  • Sign-up In Person: Find our table at the MU/Quad between Tuesday 2/15 to Friday 2/19!
  • All of your personal information will be strictly confidential.
  • The two players whom outlast and best their respective 20 competitors and win their choice of a PS3 Slim or Netbook worth over $325
  • Buy-in price / slot: $25 (this will waive the $8 entrance fee).

Tourney Outline

- 2 concurrent poker tournaments. 40 seats in all, 20 seats a tourney, 10 seats a table beginning at 6:15 promptly (Missing players will forfeit blinds until they appear).
- Tourney assignment will be random as well as seating.
- Everyone receives 1000 Tournament Dollars at start.
- Blinds will be as follows and increasing 1 level every 20 minutes

  • lvl 3 20/40 1 Hour mark
  • lvl 4 25/50
  • lvl 5 50/100
  • lvl 6 75/150 2 Hour mark
  • lvl 7 100/200

  • lvl 9 200/400 3 Hour mark
  • lvl 10 300/600
  • lvl 11 400/800
  • lvl 12 500/1000 4 Hour mark
  • lvl 13 600/1200
  • lvl 14 800/1600
  • lvl 15 1000/2000 5 Hour mark

- Optional re-buy in within first 40 minutes of play. Price will proportional to that of starting buy in.
- Expect approximately 25-35 Hands per hour (should end between 3-4 hrs)

Poker Etiquette
  1. When making a raise announce "raise" as avoid string bets
  2. Avoid splashing the pot
  3. Push mucked cards close enough to dealer
  4. Don't talk about mucked hands while cards still in play
  5. Don't act out of turn
  6. Tap to check
  7. Don't slow roll. If you believe you have the winning hand after the river don't wait for other players to reveal. (Aggressors should show first.)
  8. Don't needlessly stall the game
