ΔΕΜ (Delta Epsilon Mu), is a professional fraternity for male and female college students in the United States who are interested in or currently study in the pre-health field. ΔΕΜ was founded in Fall 1996 at Binghamton University, in Binghamton, New York. There are currently chapters in New York, California, Maryland, Florida, Virginia, Washington DC, Kansas, and Texas. The fraternity was founded on four principles: Dedication, Loyalty, Friendship, and Support. The National Bylaws were ratified officially by the eight National Liaisons, representing the Alpha-Kappa chapters of the fraternity, in the spring of 2012, making Delta Epsilon Mu the first pre-health co-ed professional national fraternity.
The brothers and sisters of Delta Epsilon Mu are committed to serving the community by advocating health education and care, and through active participation in service activities, fundraising, and outreach programs. Members are given the opportunity to directly participate in health-oriented workshops and discussions.
